Over in Final Fantasy XI, we had a thing called a “static,” essentially a group of characters who were only played when the whole group was assembled. Karl and Craig and I did an informal version of this on Burning Legion during Craig’s trial period. Justin and I did the same for a bit before he settled down on Lothar. I’d like to do it again, if others are interested.
If there’s any interest at all, I’m guessing we’re looking at 2-4 players. I don’t think there’s any need for real scheduling, I see this as something to do for fun when we’re not busy on our mains. Somebody ping me back about this.
I’d be willing to do a static game with you. We should find a low pop server and get to it.
Progress! Any strong feelings on faction or server type, or what class you want to play?
I don’t really have any strong feelings one way or another except I haven’t really done much with Alliance. I think a bunch of us playing the same class would be fun, though probably not real practical when it comes to divvying up loot. Maybe a mass email might be a better way for recruiting for this. Also I have a spare computer I might be able to run a Ventrillo server on. Karl doesn’t seem to be willing to play on anything but PvP server but I’d be willing to try a ‘normal’ server or whatever.
