Hmmm, plenty of room on my machine here at
workhome. I suppose since you already have a fully legal license to install it, but don’t have the hard drive space, you could bring it here and we can both play, taking turns of course, since it can only be installed on one machine.I installed the game via Steam (Valve’s online content distribution system), and I’m unfamiliar with the Steam EULA. It may be within my rights to install this on multiple computers since the computer has to authenticate to Valve, I don’t know.
I’ll never actually have any physical media for this game, so we would have to download Steam, then download all the Half-Life 2 files before we could play. Mmm.
Although I have a limited knowledge of steam, I had a conversation with someone (don’t quite remember who) about it, and they said that one of the advantages of steam was that a person could pay for a game once, and then play it on another computer by simply downloading it again at the other computer (with steam installed). *some time passes* I did a little research and this seems to be the case.
